Visual acuity Types




ViSoCo Separation
3 components of VA
o   Detection of presence or absence of stimulus, i.e. Minimum visible/ detection
o   Ability to distinguish between more than one identifiable feature in a visible target, i.e. Minimum resolvable.
o   Minimum recognisable
o   Judgement of location of visual target relative to another element of the same target, i.e. Minimum separable à Hyperacuity
